Quick Answer: Follow Your Nightmares is Daemon Grey's debut album: eleven tracks, released in January 2021, produced by Juno-winning Gavin Brown with Mike Riley co-producing five tracks and Randy Staub mixing four. It was recorded at Noble Street Studios in Toronto and built from demos Daemon composed entirely a cappella, voice only.
Daemon Grey is a true solo project. He writes his entire music catalogue himself, with a handful of co-writers on the 2021 debut, Follow Your Nightmares. The story behind this record is the story of the method: whole songs composed in his head, recorded a cappella in GarageBand with every guitar and drum part sung, then mailed to Canada's biggest producers. Gavin Brown's assistant wrote back. The sessions at Noble Street Studios in Toronto turned those voice demos into the eleven tracks below.
